Ted Fang founded Tera Capital, a private investment firm that invested in private equities and hospitality related businesses in Asia Pacific. In 2003, together with his two brothers, Harry Tan and David Tan, he co-founded Frontier Group, which acquired the Days Inn master franchise for Greater China from Wyndham Worldwide. The company successfully made Days Inn China the fastest growing mid-market hotel chain in China. Fang oversaw the overall strategic direction of the group and all its investment activities. 
 

Ted Fang started his career in oil trading in 1992. In 1995, he founded an IT company and in 2003, he founded Tera Capital.

Ted Fang was listed by Prestige Lifestyle Magazine as one of Singapore's 200 most powerful and influential people in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2014.

Tera Capital was a private investment firm that invested in private equities. It was the investment holding firm of Singaporean brothers, David Tan, Harry Tan and Ted Fang. In 2003, the principals successfully acquired the Days Inn master franchise for Greater China from Wyndham Worldwide Corporation. Since starting operations in 2004, the principals had made Days Inn China one of China's fastest growing mid-market hotel chains, which had a portfolio of 92 hotels in 54 cities across 22 provinces.
